* Saturday, November 8 *

REST IN THE MIDST OF STRESS.

I will bless the Lord forever
I will trust Him at all times
He has delivered me from all fear
He has set my feet upon a rock
I will not be moved
And I'll say of the Lord

my portion, deliverer
my shelter, strong tower
my very present help in time of need

Aubrey was sharing that two of her friends
got retained and they have been constantly
looking for their principal to request
for them to get promoted.
despite the countless times, the principal
still didnt allow.
until one day, when these two guys
wanted to ask their principal again.
before they went to the principal's office,
they asked their friend, who is a christian, to pray for them.
they asked their principal for a final time,
and guess what? the principal allowed them to promote.

Hannah was sharing that halfway through
math paper2 today,
she had a really bad diarrhoea.
she was stuck in the toilet for not 5 minutes,
not 10 minutes, not 15 minutes, not 20 minutes,
but TWENTY FIVE MINUTES.
she almost cried in the toilet.
she Prayed.
Thank God. not only did she finish her paper,
she still had time to check.
can you imagine how scary to face such an experience?

Jiamin was sharing that God prompted her to study
a certain chapter for her H2 mother tongue.
Thank God. that chapter came out.

I didnt study for chemical energetics for chem paper 3.
and it didnt come out for the paper.
Thank God. i was really panicking the night before
and asked God to help.

God is so real.(:

This is my desire, to honor You
Lord with all my heart I worship You
all I have within me
I give You praise
all that I adore is in You

this weekend was a refreshing one!(:
despite crying consecutively for two days
through prayer meeting on friday and
service on saturday,
it was one of assurance.
thank you God.
you never fail to assure me your presence
even in times when i feel far from you,
even when things dont seem well.

i live for Him alone.
not through what people say about me,
not through what people think about me.
sometimes, people dont think before they speak,
sometimes, people may think that we are able
to accept their teasing when actually
deep inside it hurts.
and God reassured me this weekend that
yeah, i should be bothered by what they say about me,
and most importantly, not letting what they
say affect my life.

time and time again,
i fail You,
but God, thank You for not failing me.(:

Less than a month till the big monster is gone.
honestly, i dont know whether i want it to end or not.
if you know what i mean..
in any case, no more travelling to and fro woodlands anymore in time to come!:D
